Day 1 of Swim England’s Summer Nationals Meet saw Kameliya Stoimenova take to the pool for her 100m Breaststroke event. She swum slightly off her PB in the heats due to just returning from Bulgaria, where she competed in Bulgarian Nationals, landing in England less than 24 hours before competing on Day 1 of this meet. Her swim saw her enter the finals in 7th position. In the Finals session of day 1, Kameliya went on to pull out a better swim in the final by 1 second difference to her heat swim, to finish 7th in the finals overall.

Day 2 of the event saw Kameliya swim an evenly paced 200m Breaststroke where she finished 17th overall.

Day 3 of Swim England’s Summer National Meet saw Ethan Santos take to the pool for his first National event. Ethan swum slightly off his PB in the 100m Freestyle to finish 12th overall, but went on to swim a strong 50m Backstroke race where he pulled out a PB to enter the final in 6th position. In the Finals session of the day Ethan created a further PB which saw him finish 8th overall against the strong competition of his age group.

This was the first English National event for the two NUELSC swimmer’s and both represented the club well in achieving finals at this level.
